Hojlund seals Man Utd victory at Brighton as race for top four goes to final day

Manchester City have been crowned Premier League champions for the eighth time after beating West Ham United on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola's side secured the title with a 3-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium, with goals from Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez.

The win means City have now won four of the last five Premier League titles, and they will be looking to make it five in a row next season.

West Ham took the lead through Michail Antonio in the first half, but City hit back with three goals in the second half to secure the victory.

Rodri equalised in the 55th minute, before De Bruyne gave City the lead in the 69th minute.

Mahrez then sealed the win in the 86th minute with a stunning free-kick.

The win means City have now finished the season with 93 points, one point ahead of Liverpool.

It is the second time in Guardiola's six seasons at City that they have won the Premier League by a single point.

City will now be looking to add to their trophy haul next season, with the Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup all still up for grabs.
